Refund Policy

Scope of Application: This policy applies to all subscription services purchased through the Scifocus platform, including the Basic, Pro, and Unlimited subscription plans.

Refund Conditions

  • Application Deadline : Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase. Requests submitted after this period will not be accepted.
  • Usage Limitations : To ensure fair usage, users must not have exceeded 10% of the total word count available under their subscription plan at the time of the refund request. The word count limitations for each plan are as follows:
    • Basic Plan :
      • Daily Academic Toolkit: 1,000 words/month
      • Research Assistant Pro: 500 words/month
    • Pro & Unlimited Plans :
      • Daily Academic Toolkit: 5,000 words/month
      • Research Assistant Pro: 750 words/month
  • Refund Amount Limitations : Refunds will be issued only for the subscription service fees, excluding any amounts discounted through promotions or special offers.

Subscription Management

  • Cancel Subscription : Users may cancel their subscription to prevent future auto-renewals. Cancelling the subscription will not affect the current service period. It is recommended to cancel the subscription before submitting a refund request to avoid incurring future charges.

How to Request a Refund?

Step 1: Log in and Cancel Subscription

  • Log in to your account: Visit the Scifocus website and log in to your account.
  • Go to Account Settings: Click on "Account Setting" in the left-side menu.
  • Select Billing Information: In the right-side panel, click the "Billing" tab at the top.
  • Cancel Subscription: Click the "CANCEL PLAN" button under your current subscription plan to cancel it.

Step 2: Submit a Refund Request

  • Contact the Support Team : Please send an email from your registered account to [email protected] with the subject line: "Refund Request for Subscription Cancellation" to verify your identity and ensure transaction security.
  • Provide Necessary Information : In the body of the email, please include the following details:
    • Username
    • Order number
    • Invoice or receipt (if available)
    • Reason for the refund
  • Wait for a Response : The support team will process your refund request within 5 business days and will make every effort to provide a timely and fair solution.

Notice

  • Time Sensitivity : Please ensure that your refund request is submitted within 7 days of purchase to qualify for a refund.
  • Usage Limit : The word count used at the time of the refund application must not exceed 10% of the total plan word count; otherwise, it may affect your eligibility for a refund.
  • Refund requirements include : The account has not been suspended, banned, or reported for attacking the model, attempting to obtain prompt words, or any other behavior violating the Terms of Service, nor does it have any abnormal or unsafe activities.
